Held under the chairmanship of the Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, the Governing Council decided to extend the validity of the state of health emergency throughout the national territory from April 30 at 18H00 to May 31 at 18H00.
The announcement was, in fact, made by the Minister Delegate in charge of Relations with Parliament, government spokesman, Mustapha Baitas at the end of the Council.
Despite the improvement of the health situation, this decision aims to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of measures taken by public authorities in the fight against the spread of the pandemic related to Covid-19.
