Morocco gets rid of millions of doses of Coronavirus vaccine

The media revealed that millions of doses of Corona virus vaccine were discarded by Morocco because of their expiration date.

A Moroccan daily reported that many vaccines can be used up to 36 months after manufacture, or three years, but because Covid-19 vaccines are newly invented, there is not enough data to prove their effectiveness over longer periods.

It is known among countries that the validity of vaccines against Corona varies between four and six months, but the World Health Organization has extended the validity of the Pfizer vaccine to nine months, while previously it was six months, adds the source.

However, confirms the newspaper, a significant number of this type of vaccine will be discarded, after the state failed to convince its citizens to complete the process of vaccination against the Coronavirus, including the second and third doses.
