Morocco participates in the agricultural fair in Serbia

Mohamed Amine Belhadj, Moroccan Ambassador to Serbia, and El Mahdi Arrifi, Director General of the Agricultural Development Agency, opened Saturday the Moroccan Pavilion of the 89th edition of the International Fair of Agriculture in Novi Sad in Serbia, which will be held from May 21 to 27.

“This Moroccan participation, organized by the Agricultural Development Agency, is seen as a lever of the ambitious strategy of the agency to encourage investment in the agricultural sector and aims to create important partnerships with investors in Southeast Europe,” reads a press release.

The same source added that “this major agricultural meeting will be an opportunity to highlight the various investment opportunities that Morocco abounds and which may interest foreign investors,” noting that “thanks to the stable and promising business climate, skilled human resources, available infrastructure, appropriate legal rules and specialized public and private institutions, Morocco is one of the most attractive African countries in terms of investment.

In this context, the Agency for Agricultural Development has set up an 80 square meter Institutional Pavilion to promote investment and the business climate in the agricultural sector in Morocco while highlighting the necessary data and information that would be of interest to the target audience.

Novi Sad is the largest agricultural sector event in Southeast Europe, with 400 exhibitors from 25 countries this year.
