In its daily bulletin on the epidemiological situation, the Ministry also said that the number of first-time vaccine recipients has reached 24,848,656, that of people who have received two doses amounts to 23,332,229, while 6,512,484 people have had three injections of the vaccine.
The new record of infections brings to 1,186,597 the total number of contaminations since the first case reported in Morocco on March 02, 2020, while the number of recovered people has risen to 1,160,121, representing a recovery rate of 97.8%.
The new cases of infection have been recorded in the regions of Casablanca-Settat (212), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (171), Marrakech-Safi (107), Fès-Meknès (31), Souss-Massa (29), Oriental (22) Béni Mellal-Khénifra (21), Draâ-Tafilalet (07), Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (6) and Dakhla-Oued Eddahab (01)
The total number of deaths is 16,087.
The active cases are 10,389 while the severe or critical cases have reached 01 in the last 24 hours, bringing their total to 51.
As for the occupancy rate of the resuscitation beds, it stands at 1%.
