In its daily bulletin on the epidemiological situation, the Ministry also said that the number of first-time vaccine recipients has reached 24,897,234, that of people who received two doses is 23,390,551, while 6,773,485 people have had three injections of the vaccine and 43,622 have received the fourth dose.
The new record of infections brings to 1,264,609 the total number of contaminations since the first case reported in Morocco on March 02, 2020, while the number of recovered people has risen to 1,248,072, representing a recovery rate of 98.7%.
The new cases of infection have been recorded in the regions of Casablanca-Settat (04), Fez-Meknes (03), Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (02), Oriental (02) and Draâ-Tafilalet (01).
The total number of deaths is still 16,275 (case fatality 1.3%), with zero cases recorded in the last 24 hours.
The active cases are 262 while the severe or critical cases have reached 01 in the last 24 hours, bringing their total to 11. As for the occupancy rate of resuscitation beds, it is 0.21%.
