At a time when other players are eager to be part of the World Cup with Morocco, Walid Cheddira prefers to focus on his “personal projects”.
The striker of the Italian club of series B, SSC Bari, Walid Cheddira has just declared to the local press that he is not really “hot” to play with the Atlas Lions. In an interview with Telebarithe 24-year-old player said: “It’s good, but for now I do not think about it. For the moment I only think about Bari“, as for the question of answering the call of Morocco.
The new national coach, Walid Regragui, had the player in mind to strengthen the offensive line of the Atlas Lions for the World Cup 2022. However, no decision has been taken yet on the subject.
Note that Walid Regragui will present next Monday the list of players who will take part in the friendly games of September 23 and 27, against Chile and Paraguay.
