In its daily bulletin on the epidemiological situation, the Ministry also said that the number of first-time vaccine recipients has reached 24,907,380, that of people who received two doses amounts to 23,404,153, while 6,824,220 people have had three injections of the vaccine and 50,585 have received the fourth dose.
The new record of infections brings the total number of infections since the first case was reported in Morocco on March 2, 2020 to 1,265,032, while the number of people recovered has risen to 1,248,626, representing a recovery rate of 98.7%.
New cases of infection have been reported in the regions of Casablanca-Settat (12), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (09), Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (01), Fès-Meknès (01) and Souss-Massa (01).
The total number of deaths is still 16,278 (case fatality 1.3%), with zero cases recorded in the last 24 hours.
Active cases are 128 with zero severe or critical cases in the last 24 hours.
