The local authorities of Casablanca have conducted a major campaign to free the public space and this, at the souk of Sidi Moumen, carriages and other carts, illegally occupying the premises. This action of the agents of authority consisted in the seizure of these vehicles generally used for the transport of fruits and vegetables.
Note that this campaign comes after many others, already conducted by local authorities of the economic capital, with a view to freeing public space and this, in different areas of the city.
The objective of these operations of sanitation is also the fight against the unflattering image, damaging the aesthetics of Casablanca, because of the carriages pulled by hand and those with animal traction.
