Thirty days after the murder of a mother in the douar El-Âouina located in the village of Aglou, which is part of the rural municipality of Tnine Aglou, in the province of Tiznit, elements of the Royal Gendarmerie in Tiznit arrested, Friday, January 27, the perpetrator of the crime, we learn from a judicial source. It is his daughter, aged forty-two, who struck him with a deadly stone.
If the Prosecutor General’s Office at the Court of Appeal of Agadir does not decide to extend the duration of police custody, the respondent was to be brought to justice on Sunday, January 29, said the same judicial source, who added that if not, it would be put in his hands, Monday, January 30, before being presented before the investigating judge.
Indeed, there are more than four weeks, we learn from the same judicial source, during the last week of December 2022, that the body of this mother was found at home by a member of his family. The investigators of the Royal Gendarmerie noticed a serious injury to the head of the deceased whose body was evacuated to the morgue to be autopsied. Subjecting the respondent to questioning, she confessed to her matricide. Investigators are still looking into the case to determine the motive of the crime.
