This weekend, a serious traffic accident resulted in about twenty people injured with varying degrees of severity. The accident occurred when two vehicles carrying workers collided in the Beni Makada neighborhood of Tangier.
According to a Moroccan press source, the workers were rushed to hospital for first aid. The same source explained that the excessive speed of the drivers of the two vehicles was the main reason for the accident.
The police have opened an investigation into the case to find out the circumstances of this incident.
