Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima: The filling rate of dams reaches about 60%.

The reservoirs of these dams, whose capacity exceeds 1.721 billion m3, have been established, so far, to more than 1.022 billion m3, against 866.3 million m3 during the same period last year, during which the filling rate had reached 50.31%, said a report of the Directorate.

 The report notes that four dams have reached a filling rate approaching 100%. These are
the Acharif Al Idrissi
dam (121.65 million m3), Nakhla in Tetouan (4.21 million m3), Chefchaouen (12.2 million m3) and Tangier Mediterranean (22 million m3). In the Loukkos area, the Oued El Makhazine dam (Larache province), the largest dam in the region, has reached 566.7 million m3, a filling rate of 84.2%, against 440.7 million m3 during the same period a year earlier, a filling rate of 65.5%.

 Regarding the Dar Khrofa
dam, they amounted to 159.8 million m3, or a filling rate of 33.3%, against about 180.8 million m3 a year earlier (37.7%).

 In the prefecture of Tangier-Assilah, the Ibn Battouta dam reached a filling rate of 58.7% (17.1 million m3), while the dam April 9 showed a filling rate of 19.8% (59.3 million m3).

 As for the filling rate of the dam Moulay El Hassan Ben El Mahdi, located in the province of Fahs-Anjra, it has reached 70% (16.4 million m3), while this rate has reached 42.2% for the dam Abdelkrim Al Khattabi, located in the province of Al Hoceima (5 million m3)

 In the prefecture of M’diq-Fnideq, the dam of Smir recorded a filling rate of 95.3% (37.1 million m3), while this rate was established at 23.4% for the Jomoua dam (1.2 million m3).
