Ramadan: the price of tomatoes has (finally) dropped

The prices of tomatoes have fallen at the beginning of this week, to the delight of consumers. The kilo now costs between 6 and 7 dirhams.

On the web, many Moroccans have expressed their relief at this long-awaited decrease, as tomatoes are used in most dishes prepared during Ramadan.

In this regard, a sector professional confirmed to Le Site info that the price of tomatoes, which had exceeded 10 dirhams in several markets in the Kingdom, has finally stabilized thanks to measures taken by the government.
