According to a tweet from the Moroccan embassy in China, all restrictions on the entry of Chinese citizens into Morocco have been lifted as of Wednesday, April 5, 2023.
The Moroccan government decided in late December to ban all visitors from China, regardless of nationality, from entering Moroccan territory, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Residents Abroad announced at the time.
This decision was taken “to prevent a new wave of contamination in Morocco” and “in view of the evolution of the health situation related to Covid-19 in China, and regular and direct contacts with the Chinese side.
