The elements of the prefectural service of the judicial police of Casablanca, in close coordination with the elements of the Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance (DGST), have arrested, Monday evening, a minor of 16 years, for his alleged involvement in the trafficking of fireworks resulting in manslaughter, said a security source.
The elements of the judicial police of the district Moulay Rachid in Casablanca had opened a judicial investigation, dated March 25, following the physical assault of a person aged 19 years, resulting in his death by the use of fireworks, due to disputes between two groups of ultras, fans of football, said the same source.
In their first phase, the research and investigations conducted by the police squad have led to the arrest of individuals involved in this murder, before continued investigations lead to identify their suppliers of fireworks mortars and the arrest, Monday night, of one of them, said the same source.
