In the small town of Tifelt, residents are concerned about the dangerous situation of advertising hoardings that are over 15 years old and have never been maintained.
According to local councillor Azelarab Hilmi, “this situation is worsening because a few iron bars have fallen onto the road, creating the risk of serious accidents”.
He warned: “We’ve already reported this situation at local council meetings, but without any follow-up from the council office. It’s worth noting that these unusable signs detract from the town’s charm, and in some cases prevent the trees next to them from growing normally.”
