In Derb Espagnol, in the El Fida-Mers Sultan district of Casablanca, a young man ended the life of a father in his fifties on Sunday, September 3, by stabbing him with a knife, according to a judicial source.
The victim, a travelling salesman and father of two, was standing outside his home at around 2 a.m. listening to music. Unable to get a wink of sleep, the neighbor asked him to turn down the volume. The victim didn’t take kindly to his request. A heated argument ensued, followed by the use of knives, and the irreparable happened. The culprit tried to escape, but was quickly arrested by the police. He was taken into custody for questioning before being handed over to the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Casablanca Court of Appeal.
