Real hairdresser, fake journalist

In Salé, a hairdresser posing as a journalist working for an electronic newspaper was arrested by members of the judicial police of the Salé regional security district before being brought, under arrest, before the correctional chamber of the city’s court of first instance. The hairdresser, who had worked in a photographic laboratory, posed as a journalist, pretending to have a friendly relationship with the director of an electronic newspaper, and offered his services to the victims. He managed to gain their trust. He managed to extort large sums of money from them before slipping away. When he was arrested, he tried to clear his name in front of the criminal investigation department. However, his victims presented the investigators with recordings of their telephone conversations with him.
