Morocco and Mauritania sign vocational training agreement

An agreement was signed on Monday in Rabat by the Minister for Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills, Younes Sekkouri, and his Mauritanian counterpart, Zeinebou Mint Ahmednah, to implement a cooperation program in the field of employment and vocational training. The three-year program (2024-2026) aims to facilitate the exchange of experience in areas such as employment, training engineering, support mechanisms and the creation of small businesses, as well as the development of a labor market information system.

“We have significant expertise that could be of benefit to our Mauritanian friends, particularly in the field of vocational training, thanks to the substantial investments the Kingdom has made in this area to support growth sectors such as aeronautics and the automotive industry,” emphasized Mr. Sekkouri.
