Four suicide cases in 24 hours in Chtouka-Aït Baha, Midelt and Ksar Kebir

Four cases of suicide occurred on Sunday and Monday, March 3 and 4, in Ksar Kebir, Midelt and Chtouka-Aït Baha. The last case involved a forty-four-year-old mother of two who ended her life by hanging herself on the afternoon of Monday March 4, not far from her home in the douar Tin El Hadj Ali Omoula in the urban commune of Oued Essafa, part of the province of Chtouka-Aït Baha.
On the morning of the same day, Monday, a seventeen-year-old girl was found strangled by her shawl in her room at the boarding school of the Lycée Hassan II in Midelt. The teenager, who was in the 1st year of her baccalaureate, technology section, was from Imilchil.
During the night of Sunday March 3, a young girl, aged 24, committed suicide by ingesting rat poison at her home in the Essalam district of Ksar Kebir. Evacuated to the hospital in the same town and then to the emergency room of the Mohammed V hospital in Tangier, she soon gave up the ghost.
In the same town, a young man, aged 33, jumped from the 3rd floor of his father’s home in the Belabès district at around 11 a.m., and died instantly.
