Some 3,494 ecstasy tablets were seized early on Tuesday morning, March 5, by members of the Salé regional police force, following information provided by DGST officers, according to a judicial source, who added that three suspects, aged between 39 and 44, were arrested. According to the same source, the suspects were two brothers and the wife of one of them. Coming from the north of the country, the car in which the trio were travelling stopped at a police roadblock at the entrance to the town of Salé. After a thorough search of the vehicle, the police found the aforementioned quantity of ecstasy and a large sum of money. According to the same judicial source, the three suspects were kept in police custody and the investigation is continuing in order to clear up the whole affair.
