Leïla Marrakchi is to Direct Episodes of Netflix Series “The Eddy”

Very well known for her sulphurous “Marock” (2005), director Leïla Marrakchi will very soon direct the shooting of an episode of the series “The Eddy” for Netflix.

The episode in question will feature a couple of actors, both in the city and on stage, Leila Bakhti and Tahar Rahim. This one embodies the role of the co-owner of a Parisian jazz club, and his wife, Leila Bakhti, will play the role of his girlfriend. A tailor-made role.

In the cast, we also find the American André Holland (Moonlight), in the role of pianist Elliot Udo, immortalized in front of his favorite instrument, alongside an actress who plays his daughter, Amandla Stenberg.

Joanna Kulig, revealed in Cold War, will play the star singer of this jazz club. All these beautiful people are directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Damien Chazelle, for two episodes.
