Emmanuel Macron Soon to Visit Morocco?

Will Emmanuel Macron come, won’t come… Will he make another visit to Morocco? Maghreb Confidentiel has just announced that this could well be the case in January 2020.

Maghreb Confidentiel, which cites ministerial sources in Rabat, says Emmanuel Macron will be in Rabat next year to boost Morocco-France relations. The latter had been somewhat disrupted after Bruno Le Maire’s last statements. The French Minister of the Economy had strongly criticized the manufacture of best-sellers such as the Peugeot 208 and Renault Clio outside France.

In front of all the professionals in the automotive industry, Bruno Le Maire launched the two French groups that no longer produce the Peugeot 208 and Renault Clio in France. The first is manufactured in the Kenitra plant in Morocco and Slovenia.

It should be noted that the PSA Peugeot Citroën plant in Kenitra was not inaugurated with the presence of Emmanuel Macron, although this had been announced by some sources.

It should be noted that King Mohammed VI received a message of congratulations from the President of the French Republic on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Sovereign’s accession to the Throne. In this message, Macron sends the King, on his own behalf and on behalf of France, his warm congratulations and his sincere wishes for happiness and health.

“Since 1999, under Your Majesty’s High Leadership, Morocco has undergone major transformations. Important reforms have been undertaken to ensure harmonious, inclusive and sustainable development in the Kingdom, particularly for the benefit of its youth,” Macron wrote, assuring that “France stands by Morocco’s side and supports its projects.
