Jalal Malik: My Next Video-Clips Will Be in Morocco

In a new episode of Nayda in Hollywood, presented on the “360” website, the journalist Simo Benbachir welcomed the Moroccan singer Jalal Malik who was born in California.

Jalal Malik entered the music business when he was only 15 years old, as he told Simo. This was made possible thanks to his encounter with people and artists who believed in his talent and trusted him, such as Mos Def and Dubay Viasco, two big names in “hip hop”.

On the type of music he offers, Jalal Malik said that it is an inspiring personal music, through which he wants to give hope and joy of life to his listeners.

In his interview with Simo, Jalal talked about his favorite song “The Truth”, a song about truth and religion. Friends and acquaintances of different religions and nationalities worked with him in Los Angeles to make the video clip for this song.

As for his song “The heat”, he said it is a celebration song, in which he talks about his life and his artistic journey: “It’s a fire song. It’s one of my best songs,” he told Simo.

In response to a question about the Moroccan touch in his work, Jalal replied that this touch is really present, especially in his first album, one of the songs is about Morocco, this beautiful country with hospitable people, adding that he had already visited Casablanca, Marrakech, Tangier, Chefchaouen and some desert regions and that he plans to shoot a number of videos there soon.

At the end of the interview with Simo, Jalal advised Moroccans who want to succeed and realize their American dream to focus, persevere, work hard, pray and rely on god.
