The Moroccan inventor Majid El Bouazzaoui has just been appointed member of the Selection Committee of the Order of Honour “For Science and Innovation”.
This prestigious decoration of Knight, Officer or Commander was founded by the Inventors Forum of Romania. It is awarded to people with outstanding achievements in the field of science and innovation, or who have supported innovation. Its objective is to reward people for their special merits in the fields of education, research and innovation. This distinction is offered during special occasions such as exhibitions, conferences or honorary doctorate ceremonies.
Among the members of the selection committee are 18 other eminent persons internationally recognized for their outstanding activities in the field of Invention and Science, including the presidents of invention fairs in Malaysia, Poland, Canada, Russia, Brazil, Indonesia.
The Inventors’ Forum of Romania (FIR) is a non-profit association in Romania which aims at supporting, stimulating the development and valorization of scientific and technical creative activities, as well as cultural, artistic but also copyright related problems of its members, diversification of research and technological development, micro-production, etc.
Created in 2003 by a group of university professors, elite inventors and researchers from the University Center of Iasi, FIR organizes annually the European invention fair Euroinvent.
It is worth reminding that Majid El Bouazzaoui is the winner of 60 international distinctions from 27 countries, including 28 gold medals and was decorated by HM King Mohammed VI.
