The Moroccan Jewish community celebrated on Saturday evening in Toulal, in the territorial municipality of Gourrama (Midelt Province), the religious Moussem of Rabbi Itshak Abihssira.

Coming from different cities of the Kingdom and abroad, members of the Moroccan Jewish community gather every year at the mausoleum of this Jewish saint to celebrate the festivities of the Hiloula. This Moussem is also marked by a collection of donations for the maintenance of the mausoleum.

During a ceremony held in the presence of the Wali of the region of Drâa-Tafilalet, governor of the province of Errachidia, Bouchâab Yahdih, the governor of the province of Midelt, Mustapha Ennouhi, and several civil and military personalities, the audience recited religious songs.

The audience expressed their unshakeable attachment to their Moroccan identity and to the glorious Alaoui Throne, stressing the high concern of HM King Mohammed VI for the members of the Jewish community.

They also raised prayers for the repose of the souls of the late Mohammed V and the late Hassan II, asking God to grant His blessings to HM King Mohammed VI, Amir Al-Mouminine, and all members of the Royal Family.
