The city of Casablanca will host its first International Gastronomy Festival from March 6 to 8, the organizers said in a statement.
Much more than a celebration of the taste buds, this event, the first of its kind in the city, is also and above all an invitation to discover and promote Morocco and its heritage through the culinary arts, explain the organizers.
“Throughout the world, gastronomy today represents a real lever of tourist attraction and we are counting on the richness of our heritage and the creativity of the chefs and professionals invited to promote this sector,” says Siham El Faydi, founder of the festival.
For this inaugural edition, the organizers have chosen to honor Africa and its cuisine around the theme “Gastronomy, a driving force for development in Africa”.
