Coronavirus: Saudi Arabia Suspends International Flights

The Saudi government announced on Saturday the suspension of all international flights from Sunday for two weeks as part of the fight against the new Coronavirus in the country, which has recorded 86 cases of infection.

The government of Saudi Arabia announced the suspension of international flights for two weeks (starting March 15) as part of its efforts to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, the Saudi Foreign Ministry said.

All citizens and residents who are unable to return (to Saudi Arabia) because of the suspension of flights or because they have been quarantined on their return will be given exceptional leave, the official news agency SPA said, quoting the ministry.
