Coronavirus: The Ministry of Justice Makes Announcement

As part of the preventive measures to combat the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and to protect the health of the Kingdom’s court officials and litigants, the Ministry of Justice informs all citizens that all requested documents can be obtained electronically and that court records can be consulted on the portal

In a press release, the Ministry points out that obtaining commercial register, criminal record certificates, consulting criminal records and related procedures, and submitting applications for the establishment of companies are all services that can be obtained electronically at a distance.

In view of its responsibility for the protection of citizens’ health in the courts, the Ministry of Justice calls on all citizens to obtain these services electronically, and not to go to the courts to avoid congestion and thus the risk of infection, the same source points out.
