22 new cases of infection with the new Coronavirus (Covid-19) were confirmed in Morocco from Wednesday night until Thursday at 8:00 am, bringing the total number of cases of contamination to 676, announced the Ministry of Health.
The 676 cases tested positive were recorded in the regions of Casa-Settat (188), Marrakech Safi (126), Rabat Salé Kenitra (114), Fez-Meknes (110), Tangier Tetouan Al Hoceima (45), l’Oriental ( 29), Beni Mellal-Khénifra (23), Souss-Massa (18), Daraa-tafilalet ( 20), Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (2) and Guelmim Oued Noun (1).
The number of deaths due to Coronavirus is 39, while those declared cured are 29, says the ministry on the website “www.covidmaroc.ma”.
In addition, the total number of cases excluded after negative results of laboratory tests is 2,726, according to the same source.
