Question of the day:
Date: 24.03.2020
Subject: parnassa, education, epidemic
Parents do not have parnassa (income) because of the epidemic and therefore they are unable to pay for school fees, thus their children are threatened to be expelled from school. What can they do?
RAV’s answer:
We are very aware of what’s happening with schools, especially outside of Israel, that are taking money from parents by force, it’s an extremely serious problem.
Some schools have become a real business and are financially strangling the parents, it hurts us and makes us very angry, I don’t see how this school owners can be forgiven for that.
