Lalla Zineb Hosted a Ceremony in Rabat

On Wednesday in Rabat, Princess Lalla Zineb, President of the Moroccan League for Child Protection (LMPE), was in charge of the signing ceremony of the partnership agreement between the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and the Moroccan League for Child Protection.

During this occasion, Princess Lalla Zineb highlighted the importance of the partnership between the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and the Moroccan League for the Protection of Children, which partnership is part of the program for the protection and promotion of the rights of children and youth in difficult situations.

In accordance with the agreement signed between the two parties, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports is committed to contributing to the renovation, construction and equipping of the reception centers run by the League, including the necessary technical and sports equipment and to the operating budget of these centers, as well as to the training and supervision of the educators working in these structures.

For its part, the Moroccan League for the Protection of Children and Adolescents (LMPE) promises to ensure the gradual provision of care for children in difficult situations who are residents of child protection centers under the authority of the Department of Youth and Sports, according to the available capacity and the age of the residents.

The League also provides support for awareness-raising and education programs on child and youth issues, particularly with regard to Kafala, the rights of the child and its protection against abandonment, social exclusion and marginalization.

Prior to the exchange of the agreement signed by the two parties, El Ferdaous and the accompanying delegation visited the different buildings of the Lalla Meriem Center, where the officials of this establishment gave them insights into the process of reception and care of the residents, as well as the various services provided to all beneficiaries, under the guidance and supervision of the staff of the League, specialized in the field of child protection.
