The authorities of the town of Chefchaouen have decided, since Sunday, August 2, to strengthen prevention measures at the site of the famous Akchour waterfalls. This measure has been taken in order to prevent the risk of spreading the new Coronavirus.
In addition, the local authorities have made the conditions to access the town of Chefchaouen more restrictive since last Saturday. This decision follows the recent ban imposed by the Moroccan authorities on travel to and from certain cities and provinces of the Kingdom, including Tangier and Tetouan.
