Golf: Morocco’s tourist assets exposed in Warsaw

The Moroccan embassy in Warsaw organised this Saturday, in partnership with other diplomatic representations accredited in Poland, the golf tournament “The Open Ambassadors Cup”, the opportunity to promote the Moroccan golf destination and to make known the quality infrastructure that the Kingdom has in this field.

This tournament, organised in partnership with the embassies of Ukraine, Georgia, Italy, Croatia, Malaysia and Hungary and with the support of the ABK MEDIA Group, took place on the “Lisia Polana” golf course near Warsaw.

More than 80 players, including ambassadors and diplomats, took part in this competition which was held in the presence of the Director of Political Affairs at the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cyryl Kozaczewski.

At the end of the tournament, Morocco’s ambassador to Poland, Abderrahim Atmoun, awarded prizes to the winners and distributed Moroccan souvenirs and brochures praising the quality of the Moroccan golf destination to the participants.

During this event, which was attended by the Polish sports press, Atmoun stressed that Morocco is a quality golf destination that cannot be ignored.

He also pointed out that Morocco is developing the golf course while respecting ecological standards (irrigation of the courses with recycled water).

On this occasion, the representative of the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) in Poland, Rachid Naciri highlighted the richness, diversity and multiple tourist facets of Morocco, emphasising its diversified tourist offer and its high level reception infrastructures.
