Official Egyptian sources said government authorities have decided to take a new decision to encourage tourists wishing to visit the country. They said the government will exempt tourists, including Moroccans, from the visa requirement.
Egyptian authorities said the exemption includes only citizens with valid U.S., U.K., or Schengen visas previously used on their passports.
These citizens will have the right to go directly to Egypt without the need to apply for visas in advance, as they will be able to get them automatically upon arrival at the airport.
