Trafficking in Covid rapid tests: a 44-year-old Moroccan man arrested in Tangier Med

The elements of the customs at the port of Tangier Med, in coordination with the agents of the National Security, have defeated, Sunday, an attempt to international trafficking of goods subject to proof of origin, involving 8,860 units of rapid tests of Covid-19.

During a routine passenger control operation, elements of the customs and police operating at the port Tangier Med passengers have subjected a vehicle registered abroad from a European port to a thorough inspection that allowed to get their hands on this large quantity of rapid tests, said a customs source.
