The people of Casablanca are invited to donate blood at the blood transfusion center of the economic capital. The stocks currently available are far from being able to cover two days.
During an appearance on 2M, the director of the Regional Blood Transfusion Center (CRTS) of Casablanca-Settat, Dr. Amal Darid, said that the region has 610 health facilities that can currently not be covered by the available stock.
For her part, Hassania Mouhib, executive at the CRTS, explained that the demand far exceeds the supply. The Center can not ensure 400 bags of blood per day for patients.
An appeal was thus launched to invite citizens to go to the nearest center and donate blood to save lives.
