The administrative court of Nador has condemned the municipality of the city because of the massacre of stray dogs by bullets.
An association for the defense of animal rights had filed a complaint against the aforementioned commune after having committed the irreparable. The municipality, in the person of the governor, had to pay a compensation of 6000 dirhams to the association, a first in Morocco!
It should be noted that the killing of stray dogs in the Kingdom constantly provokes the anger of citizens who call on the authorities to stop these inhumane acts and to sterilize and protect these dogs instead of killing them in this way.
