The French Institute of Casablanca will organize on November 22 from 20:30 a concert of the Beninese group “Wood Sound”. “WOOD SOUND” (the sound of wood) in English is a music group with Beninese if not Dahomean sources, known to the public since 2013. WOOD SOUND is a colorful and warm music carried by percussion and traditional songs, guitar and bass,” reads a statement.
“The group is led by Bonventure Didolanvi affectionately called Bona, who expresses through WOOD SOUND the cultural richness of Benin while creating a new musical language for the African music of tomorrow,” the source said.
