The executive board of the National Association of Broiler Producers (ANPC) has expressed its surprise at the increase in feed prices at the main companies in the sector.
The ANPC has indicated in a statement of which the Moroccan press has a copy, that a note has been sent to the Ministry of Trustees, to inform him of several anomalies, including the increase in the price of poultry feed, the decline in their quality and non-compliance with the law on competition, but also to request the opening of dialogue with professionals in this direction.
The executive board of the ANPC questioned the position of the Ministry of Agriculture, which seems to adopt the deaf ear to the claims of professionals in the sector.
The ANPC has also appealed to the Competition Council, to put an end to certain practices that could be considered ʺillegalʺ. The Association is asking poultry feed producers to review their tariffs, especially since the price of imported raw materials has regressed.
