Strike in France: RAM cancels flights this weekend

RAM has announced that several flights to and from Paris will be cancelled on March 11 and 12. The airline said that this cancellation is due to the strike of the civil service, scheduled in France.

“Due to the strike notice on March 11 and 12 of the civil service, relayed by the unions of the French DGAC, we are forced to proceed with the cancellation of some flights of the same day, from and to Paris,” it says on its Twitter account.

“In order to limit the impact of these cancellations, Royal Air Maroc is assisting its customers by transferring them to other flights: customers who have reachable contacts on their reservation file will receive emails and SMS confirming their rescheduled flight. We invite passengers to consult the status of their flight and check and update their contact information on the “manage my reservation” section of the RAM website: https://www.royalairmaroc.com/ma-fr/gerer-ma-reservation”, says the company’s website.

As for passengers holding tickets on the flights in question and not wishing to travel on flights made available to them, RAM offers a refund of their tickets in their original means of payment or a free change of date, depending on availability, to and from the same destination or a destination in the RAM network in Europe, for a new date of travel within 15 days following the date of the cancelled flight, provided that the initial duration of stay is maintained.

“We invite passengers whose flights have been cancelled, or who have not received a confirmed rescheduled flight, not to go to the airport and to contact their initial point of sale or the RAM call center to confirm their rescheduled flight or benefit from the above provisions.
The status of your flight can also be viewed via the following link: https://www.royalairmaroc.com/ma-fr/gerer-ma-reservation,” RAM concludes.
