Franco-Moroccan arrested for bank card hacking

On Friday, July 28, elements of the prefectural judicial police force in Marrakech arrested a thirty-year-old French-Moroccan for involvement in a case of fraud and bank data hacking, according to a judicial source. The suspect hacked into the data of foreign credit cards and used them fraudulently to pay accommodation bills in hotels in the Ochre city, the same judicial source said. His arrest was the result of technical searches and investigations carried out in the field, said the same source, revealing that he was acting with the complicity of another person. Identified, this accomplice is currently on the run and actively sought by the police. The main suspect was held in police custody before being brought to justice. The investigation is still underway to arrest the fugitive and to find out if there are any other accomplices in this case.
