Implicated in a case of cocaine trafficking, a civil servant at the Marrakech-Safi Regional Council was arrested on Wednesday September 13 by members of the Judicial Police from the Prefecture of the Ochre City Security Department. Arrested in possession of 7 capsules of cocaine, a young man revealed to investigators that he was just running an errand on behalf of an official at the Regional Council. The police then asked him to phone the official to come and collect the goods. They stand a little way from the meeting place. He arrived quickly and handed over the money to the young man, while receiving the drugs. The police then intervened to arrest him in flagrante delicto. The case doesn’t end there, as the investigators are still looking for the hard drug dealer who supplied the young man.
