Kenya: No more visas for Moroccans as of January 1

Good news for Moroccan international tourists. As of January 1, 2024, no visitor to Kenya will need to apply for a visa. This decision was announced this Tuesday, December 12, 2023, by Kenyan President William Ruto. “It gives me great pleasure to announce that from January 2024, Kenya will be a visa-free country,” he said.

Located in East Africa, Kenya is a popular tourist destination thanks to its unrivalled safaris, where you can observe wildlife in famous nature reserves such as the Masai Mara. The country’s cultural diversity, with its many ethnic communities, also offers a rich experience of cultural discovery. Beaches along the Indian Ocean coast, such as Diani Beach, are ideal for relaxation and water sports. Finally, Kenya’s varied landscapes, from savannahs to mountains, including Mount Kenya, are ideal for hiking and exploring.
