In Marrakech, 35g of cocaine and 1,800g of chira, which had been carefully hidden in a secret cavity under the rear seats of a car, were seized by members of the narcotics squad of the prefectural judicial police, in coordination with the regional national surveillance brigade, according to a judicial source. Three suspects were arrested when they arrived at Boulevard Hassan II in their car from a town in the north of the country.
In addition, 90g of cocaine were seized in Rhamnaby members of the Ras Al Aïn Royal Gendarmerie. Two drug traffickers were arrested. At the home of one of them, the supplier, the officers also seized 1,500 g of chira and a sum of over 10,000 dirhams.
