Mahmoud Beanhalib, who suffered a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee on January19th, is going to undergo a surgery.
Mahmoud Benhalib will finally be taken to Qatar for further medical examinations. This was decided by the doctor at Aspetar Hospital in Doha, Belgium’s Pieter D’Hooghe, who had already taken care of a similar injury to Abdelilah Hafidi in April 2019.
However, Raja has not yet announced the date of the operation. The 23-year-old striker will be out of action for a period of time after the surgery.
It should be noted that after the operation, Belhalib will have to stay at least four months in the Qatari hospital for a recovery period.
