Adel Taarabt is suffering from toothache. The Benfica midfielder received a particularly severe blow on Saturday and lost one tooth while another is in danger.
Adel Taarabt received a violent (and accidental) blow to the face in Saturday’s clash with FC Porto, which left him losing a tooth on the spot and seriously damaging another.
The diagnosis of the first tests carried out is positive and the player will undergo surgery to repair his teeth.
The operation will take place after the match against Braga on 15 February. The dental surgeon consulted has given Taarabt the go-ahead to play with a protective mouthguard tonight against Famalicão.
