State of Emergency: Means of Transport between Cities Are Banned

As part of the declared “state of health emergency”, it has been decided to ban private and public means of transport between cities, from Saturday 21 March at midnight, according to a statement by the Interior Ministry.

This ban does not concern the transport of goods and basic products which is carried out under normal and fluid conditions so as to satisfy the daily needs of citizens. Nor does it concern travel for health and professional reasons, as evidenced by documents issued by administrations and institutions, the ministry points out.
