The 160 Spanish Nationals Stranded in Morocco Were Able to Return Home

160 Spanish nationals stranded in Morocco after the Kingdom’s decision to suspend its air links were able to return to their country on Friday. An exceptional Casablanca-Madrid flight was indeed organized, reports the Spanish embassy in Rabat, specifying that the plane took off at 5 p.m. from Casablanca’s Mohammed V airport.

This flight was authorized thanks to the contribution of the Spanish Embassy and the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It should be recalled that, as part of the preventive measures against the spread of the Coronavirus, the Moroccan authorities have decided to suspend all air links until further notice.
