Nadia Fettah Alaoui: The Woman of the Hard Missions

The appointment of Nadia Fettah Alaoui as Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts, Air Transport and Social Economy was not by chance. This particularly determined young woman has made a name for herself in the world of finance, a masculine domain in particular.

This young woman is one of Morocco’s most valuable assets, and one on whom we can rely to take up ambitious challenges and carry out the most important projects. She was one of the key players in the successful sale of “Saham” to “Sanlam”, the South African insurance giant, at a very controversial price.

Nadia Fettah Alaoui graduated from the famous “HEC” in Paris. She began her professional career in 1997 as a consultant in the French firm “Arthur Andersen”, before returning to Morocco and founding in 2000, her company “Maroc Invest”, thus she entered the world of finance, business and insurance, in which she had a great experience before being appointed Minister of Tourism.

Her family and friends describe her as passionate about challenges, a workaholic, a rigorous and committed leader; so many qualities that make her the person capable of bringing tourism out of the crisis that has affected it since the spread of Coronavirus.
