“Dir Lkhir” initiative was launched by the Student Office of the Mohammed VI University of Health Sciences (UM6SS). Created during the Covid-19 pandemic, the platform aims to give practical application of solidarity of the University’s students.
Starting with volunteer work, academic support courses, volunteering in affiliated hospitals and innovations in the health sector, the operation is primarily digital.
These young people explain that ” being aware that many people want to help, and that many can’t get away from home, we created #DirLkhir “.
” As committed citizens, we think of these thousands of women and men, who are in a vulnerable and critical situation, and who are even more directly affected by the pandemic “, explains Ali Taleb, president of the BDE in a press release.
Therefore, since the launch of the project, it already has 120 requests for help, 70 baskets served and 100 ideas proposed. Namely that the BDE, supported by the associations Lions Clubs Smiles of Children UM6SS, Medec’IN-Casa, HITCLUB, Enactus UM6SS and USCA, decided to donate 50,000 DH to the Special Fund for the management of the pandemic Covid-19.
